Swanky Orange Liquor - On Leash

Swanky Orange Liquor returns, this time from the highlands of Tabaconas in Cajamarca, northern Peru.

This microlot was produced by members of the Asociación de Cafetaleros La Gran Reserva, a group of growers dedicated to producing exceptional specialty coffee. Their farms sit around 1,600 metres above sea level among volcanic soils and cool mountain conditions that help create vibrant, expressive coffees.

When we first tasted the sample, we found bright citrus, a soft mouthfeel and a liquor-like depth that inspired the name all over again. Through roasting, those characteristics evolved into layers of ripe fruit while retaining the coffee's sweetness and clarity.

Expect this drop to have notes of orange peel, raspberry and juicy fruit, carried by a layered sweetness that shines as both espresso and filter. Luxury complexities and no hangovers. Enjoy responsibly.
